The annual peace concerts have been held at the Holtschneider Performance Center at DePaul University, Holy Name Cathedral, Pritzker Pavillion in Millennium Park, and The Harris Theater for Music and Dance. Sought after internationally for master classes, Mr. Burns is a former tenured Professor of Music at Indiana University and Visiting Lecturer at Northwestern University, the Merit Music School, and the Amici della Musica in Firenze, Italy.He resides in Chicago with his wife, school psychologist, Katherine Neisser, their twin sons, Edward and Isaac, along with Thibaud their French bulldog.
We had concert dance parties of new music inspired by Jazz, Funk, Blues, Rock and Latin, followed by party music played by a DJ or band with dancing, food, and drinks.
