The Great Water (Macedonian: Γолемата Вода, Latinic: Golemata Voda) is a 2004 Macedonian film starring Saso Kekenovski, Maja Stankovska, Mitko Apostolovski, Meto Jovanovski and Verica Nedeska. with activities for the whole family. Macedonian blockbuster is more successful as a technical accomplishment than as an engaging narrative. It centers on Russian children in a Russian orphanage after world war two. The director's way of introducing the story to the viewers is so good.There is only one thing missing in the movie.That's the choice of the music for the movie.I am convinced that the director could choose better music.Looking for something to watch? All of it, Chingo and Trajkov suggest, goes into shaping a Macedonian national identity uneasily poised between religious longing and ideological resolve. Determined to build the best football club in the country, Dimitry hires the German coach, Rudolph Spitz, to galvanize his rag tag team but - when the first Nazi tanks roll through the city and Rebecca, the beautiful daughter of a local banker, elopes with his star player, all Dimitry's plans must change.

The Great Water: A Documentary History of Michigan. Based upon a very famous Macedonian novel, the movie is excellent in the great performance shown by the actors and actresses. The Great Water is ultimately about the indomitability of faith, and the Christian symbolism is laid on thick.
