This movie featured two actors who appeared in two different adaptations of Charles Dickens' "Oliver Twist": Andy Serkis (Capricorn) was in the 1999 mini-series adaptation, while Jamie Foreman (Basta) was in the Roman Polanski 2005 adaptation. I only watched this movie because the trailer looked new and the idea was an interesting one. 25 January 2009
The subtitle at the start of the movie says "Twelve years later". i just want them to cat better mostly with meggie and farid.
It was nothing like I thought it would be.Yes, I am PRETTY SURE that they are. Both actors portrayed the villain Bill Sikes/Sykes.
i hate it when you love a book and then the movie was awful, it was the same with Erogon
In Inkspell, Funke does the exact opposite and throws her characters into the Inkworld; the world of Inkheart. I liked the movie but throughout the first half, you get the feeling that there is something big coming up and you just can't wait till it does. I sooooo hope that they do make Inkspell into a movie. they ARE making a movie!!!!!
A teenage girl discovers her father has an amazing talent to bring characters out of their books and must try to stop a freed villain from destroying them all, with the help of her father, her aunt, and a storybook's hero.
i trough the book at the wall when farid died then i cryed then i cried agean because dustfingers died but then he came back and i jumped alot
so basicley screw the director
Cookies help us bring you Fanpop. this is exactly waht it says: According to The New York Times, the movie The InkWorld Trilogy: Inkspell has already been announced.
the director needs to read the book he scrued everything up i'm 14 and i can make a better inkheart movie and stay in the buget.
i personally like Inkspell and Inkdeath better than Inkheart but i hat Doria. The Inkheart series is a succession of four fantasy novels written by German author Cornelia Funke, comprising so far Inkheart (2003), Inkspell (2005), and Inkdeath (2007). I think she should've stayed with Farid but mayb thats cause i'm only reading Inkdeath for the second time now. I mean the first movie was bad who said the second one would be better.
OMG!
Like how will they put Orpheus into it, him being a main charecter?
they ARE making a movie!!!!!!! No clue.
It might be hard though. because if so, YES! it's from ny times, which i would assume to be credible, so i'm HOPING it's true. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think there pretty good though inkheart was asome
I just hope i'm on the right track....
AND Dustfinger has allready left, so that kinda messes it up all the more.
and i wanna see Farid and Meggie together! yeah the books are waaaaaaaaaaaay better!
Movie was in great playable condition and to those who never read the books it was a enjoyable movie.
i dont like farid because he didn't care about meggie in inkdeath all he cared about was getting dustfinger back i was happy with the end because i liked doria and i've read the book at least 17-18 times.i really think it was a good ending.
If Farid wanted Meggie then he should have cared more about her

And if they do, I can't wait to see how they're gonna work everything together! :D Tags: inkspell , movie I love all that type of stuff.
yep. i loved the book it was so saaad and touching.... i cried when dustfiger died :(
Inkheart is a movie
AND THE white woman!
I so agree with that. A fourth volume, The Colour of Revenge (expected 2021), is under progress. they might choose to make inkspell and inkdeath into movies, but then again they might not.

i saw on wiki yes, they will make a movie and fix the mess up w/ dustfinger going in early. but dustfinger comes back to life in Inkdeath but without his scars.
But for Dustfinger, the fire-eater brought into being from words, the need to return to the tale has become desperate.
No they did NOT! I want to see Dustfinger do more fire tricks AND see The Castle of Night!
Ugh they better make an Inkspell movie.
actually i'm not sure because dustfinger is happy and back in the end of inkheart the movie and the cheeseface dude...odepius or something...wasnt in the movie but hopefully they will!!!! If you want to see it for yourself then type this address in! i think they should but it would be hard because resa gets her voice in inkspell and they give it to her at the end of the inkheart movie.Ii would love to see the seen where dustfinger dies for farid.roxane is a buthole she treats farid like everything is his fault but its notI don't know if they are there's nothin on ImDb.com but I think it would be easy they could have Farid steal the book and go to Orpheus so...
hi lori!
I am STUCK on them! I saw it in Imdb.com
Jason Isaacs, Jim Broadbent join ‘The Dead Spit Of Kelly’ for Myriad Pictures (exclusive)
Let's just hope for now!
They Should Because it is way better than Inkheart there is more action, adventure, drama, and much much more even Inkdeath is But Meggie ends up with a boy named Doria and Farid travels the Inkworld as a fireeater like Dustfinger and ask Meggie to come but she pulls away from him and goes to Doria and Spends Her life With him and also they end up living in the inkworld and Resa has a baby boy that turns into a bird in the night like his mom but he thinks he dreams about it and wants to go to the other world that Meggie, Mo, Resa, and Elinor talk about.
The action and drama and all that. Although a year has passed, not a day goes by without Meggie thinking of Inkheart, the book whose characters came to life. i wasn't sure and the comments wern't helping so i looked up the book and there was a subtopic labeled FILM ADAPTION!!!
