Towards the end, all becomes clear as we see the reasons why and the story unfolds in a delightful yet not predictable manner. I would recommend this to anybody who wants a fun summer read. It's an easy read yet deals with issues of both the male and female protagonists as they are each, for various reasons, unable to commit. They start a 'fake' relationship to stop Andras's Mother pushing a cousin on him as a potential bride.Be transported to the magical island of Corfu with Tess where the sun is always shining and romance is in the air when she meets the gorgeous Andras. The storyline is a good one, it is written well, and all of the characters are endearing in their own ways. This was such a perfect holiday read. Single For The Summer Chords by Sam Hunt. It reminded me a bit of the Durrell show currently on ITV and there was even mention of the Durrell bust on the island of Corfu in the story. Their plan is to stay single on holiday. Tess never dates men for more than six weeks while Andras hasn't had a serious relationship for some time. I found myself snorting with laughter at times and frantically turning pages to see what happened next. Both Tess and Andras have commitment issues for different reasons. I loved everything about this delightful story, which was so well written and the characters just came alive right before my very own eyes, well that's how it felt whilst reading this book.
It's a laugh out moment when they first meet and Tess never seems to stop talking about the lack of Wifi.

The setting is beautiful and the descriptions of Kalami in Greece made me want to book a flight to there now! Her exquisite descriptions of food won't be the only thing you salivate over. They wanna ask about my numbers, fuck where you come from. Andras is our hunk in this book but he also has issues of his own....his fiercely family-value led mother wants him to marry a family friend, but Andras has other ideas and cue a chance meeting at a bar and our 2 main characters are very bizarrely thrown together. I recommend you read it with a glass of bubbly, preferably on a beach but read it anyway as you won't be disappointed.
